WALK, TALK, and CHEW SIMULTANEOUSLY

The ability to walk, talk, and chew all at the same time is a skill that is referred to as multitasking. Although, it is also important to know how totally focus on one project at a time, I think multitasking is a skill that is high demand in the workforce and academia. Further, multitasking is probably more common on a daily basis to survive in an information driven society. Information technology communication requires individuals to constantly learn how to used new programs and new devices. We are constantly moving and communicating while taking care of our basic needs such, as food shelter, clothing, and relationships. With that said, recently, we have had to deal with a pandemic, untimely deaths, police brutality, protests, riots, and looting! The ability to see and hear and see events almost immediately has both benefits and liabilities. At times too much information can seem distracting especially if an individual is working on a project that requires the ability to focus.
